I am 28 years old and recently married for the second time.  I have 3 boys from a previous marriage and one boy and one girl from this marriage and my husband has a boy from his previous which equals 6.  When I was divorced the first time, I was renting, paying $450 per month and was sick and tired of it.  I found a house that had so much potential that I had to have it.  I qualified for a USDA loan and was able to buy my own home with a monthly payment of only $335 a month including taxes and ins.  I couldn't believe it.  There were so  many angels that helped me along the way that it was inspiring.  It was a lot of work on my end to find this type of help.  I am a very resourceful type of person but I know that everyone isn't like that and need help in finding that place for them and their family.  I want to help those type of people and lead them in the right direction.  Families shouldn't have to be at the mercy of renting forever.  Many people feel that they don't have any other option.  I want to scream it from the rooftops that there are options.  There are programs to even help fix up your house before they even move in.  I received over $35,000 in money from the Harrison County Ohio Community Improvement Corp. to update the wiring and paint the exterior and a fewother odd jobs that me, as a single mother of 3 would've never been able to do on my own.<script type='text/javascript' src=''></script>

Use this section to write about your specific areas of expertise. Do you specialize in first time buyers - listing high end homes - etc. Are there specific market area's that you specialize in? The more you write about your area's of expertise the more knowledgeable you'll sound to a potential buyer or seller.

I do not yet have an area of expertise.  I am very intrigued to help people who are first time home buyers and who need a little bit of help and knowledge.  Buying your first home is a very emotional experience and I want to be there for them on their journey and support them in whatever they decide.  My big moment is when  a buyer walks in the front door of a potential home and says "This is it!!!"  They can just feel it.  It's the ora of the house.  I live in a small town in Cadiz,Ohio and there's not a whole lot to choose from some times.  I want to be able to use my resourceful talents and find them what they are looking for.  I also want to be able to use my knowledge of computers to help sell a home for a family.  I recently attended a seminar about upcoming technology for the real estate market and I was astounded that so many of the older agents are not aware of things like text messaging and smartphones.  They wouldn't know what to do with them even if they had access to them.  Some people expressed that they don't need these types of things, I completely object.  We all need to be up with the times and have a handle on the new technology that's out there and use it.  My children won't know any different.  They won't even know what a MLS book is. They will have it all store on their smartphone which is where I am actually headed today to be a "Modern Agent" and a bit tech friendly.
