Jackson is the county seat of Madison County, Tennessee.  The total population of the city at the 2010 Census was 65,211. The city of Jackson is the only area in Madison county that is not eligible for 100% financing using the USDA Rural Development home loan.  Rural Development, or RD loan allows buyers in eligible areas purchase a home without a down payment.  They are able to finance 100% of the purchase price of the home. However, the program has income as well as geograhic limits.  The income limits are based on the size of the family and takes into account all household income.  In Jackson a household of 1-4 family members can make roughly $74,750 per year and a household with 5-8 family members.$98,650.  There are adjustments that can be made so these numbers are not absolute.  G...

Wrights Mill HOA Meeting December 15 at 6:30 p.m.    We willl meet at THE BARN at Fellowship Bible Church promptly at 6:30., and the meeting should only last thirty minutes.  Our Agenda: 1.  Present and explain the four land use proposals 2. Take Questions and Comments. 3. Allow residents to vote on the plan they support.   This will not be a "majority rules" vote.  There will be one vote allowed per household, and we must submit each voter's name and address along with his or her vote for the preferred land use plan ON PAPER.  We'll have ballots for each person to fill out so that the meeting moves quickly.  We have been told the Planning Committee takes these votes more seriously when there is a name attached to each vote as opposed to "majority rules". Salvation Army Jackson TN   I was out with a group of men from our church a couple of weeks ago.  We were putting together and delivering Thanksgiving Turkey Dinners to families that RIFA had reached out to.  On one of our deliveries, we came to a home that the homeowner that was to receive the meal, had passed on.  One of the family members that was there, a homeless man, was provided a greyhound bus ticket to the funeral, by The Salvation Army. I personally didn't know they did things like that.   Anyway, that has inspired me to "Ring the Bell", for The Salvation Army this weekend.  We will be at the Jackson TN Walgreen's on Campbell Street. Thank you Mr. Wolfe for heading this up and continuing Ted Brush's legacy...Thanks for making it all happen.     I hope you to will support The S...
