True story: I got a money order in the mail, and made a trip to my local post office to cash it. It's pictured above- Altamonte Springs, FL just outside of Orlando. The clerk behind the counter took a quick look at the money order, and said "We don't have that much money". I thought to myself "Yeah, I remember seeing that story just yesterday about how broke the postal service is".
Drinkin' beer, smokin' weed, and those cute little baby footprints.... Lately, I've been asking myself this question: "When do I become there"? Times have been rough around my place, and they're looking to get a bit worse before they get better. I'm sitting here at 43- and over the last 25 years of my adult life I've looked at the situations and concerns facing others and thought "There but for the grace of God goes I". I've donated to a number of causes, volunteered and worked food drives and at soup kitchens. … (14 comments)
