The Century City, Los Angeles, CA 90067 Condominium Market Report is very interesting. If you look at the Sales Prices you will immediately see my point:
 
 
In the past three years prices have dramatically increased, and part of it is location and the other part is supply and demand.
Another important area to focus on is the Days on Market:

The Median Sold Price by Month in Century City/Westwood is up 15%!
I find this fascinating in January 2014 the Median Sold Price was $675,000. There were many buyers on the fence not wanting to buy. We kept telling them that the only direction we see prices and interest rates going is up.
Well I guess we were half right, since interest rates have been artificially kept low, but prices have increased. The Median Sold Price by Month for January 2015 has been $775,000. That is an increase of $100,000.00 or better said 15%!

This is a very interesting data since November 2014 and December 2014 these numbers have been climbing. One would think this would have a negative effect on the Prices. The more inventory the bigger the competition.
Once we look at the data we realize that Century City/ Westwood have a huge price range even in the Condominium Market. I have decided to give a little Geographical clarification for my readers who are not familiar with Century City. The actual site is about 176 acres of residential and commercial properties on the Westside of Los Angeles. The boundaries are Westwood on the west Beverly Hills on the north east and Cheviot Hills and Beverlywood on the southeast. That is the true geographical Century City.

Century City Condominium Market Report for December 2010. It was an interesting year some areas did poorly others did well. So let us see how Century City fared.
There were 240 Active Condominiums on the Market for the month of December 2010. This was a 3% drop over the December 2009 numbers. Not significant but worth monitoring what the trend will be for the next few months.

 Century City Condominium Market Report for October 2010. I cannot believe how fast the month has started out.  Everyone I talk to is busy, listing presentations, negotiating offers. I suspect now that the elections are over, people are focusing on buying.
Now let us look at the numbers for October and see how they compared to September.
The Century City Condominiums that were for Sale, Available dropped from 307 from the previous month to 291 Active Listings.

 Los Angeles has long been considered having two Downtowns, one the "real" Downtown and the other being Century City, CA.  If you look at the Hollywood Hills hillside properties " City Views" are considered more valuable than" Canyon Views". The most valuable of the view homes are the one that have both Downtowns framed in the view. This is quite different from most Cities in the United States.
