The Personal Protection Conundrum:
Observations from a Beverly Hills Realtor, Endre Barath, Jr.
Many California businesses have closed recently, either voluntarily for health and/or business reasons or by direct mandate of the State and or Federal governments. As the business closures continue due to the Coronavirus pandemic, I’ve had conversations with various people as I walk Holly, our rescue dog, in our neighborhood. The conversations were contacted with proper social distancing and then some. Most people stated that life will improve once we are back to “normal”, people will be kinder and will wash their hands regularly. Call me jaded or whatever … (117 comments)

We are so busy with our lives, that seldom do we take time out and look around and identify the many things we need to or should be grateful for. I am so grateful that I had wonderful parents, who instilled in me a sense of RIGHT and WRONG. I have seen too many people who lacked a Moral Compass. I on the other hand have learned about having my Moral Compass. Not picking on any professions, I have seen it in all: Politicians, Attorneys, Sales People, Bankers and the list goes on and on that did not have wonderful parents … (11 comments)

Beverly Hills Cops: The movie 1, 2…and now #4?
OK I must admit in 1984 the movie with Eddie Murphy as Axle Foley was great, then came the movie Beverly Hills cops #2. I enjoyed it but was not thrilled by itJ somewhere along the way I missed Beverly Hills Cops #3 and now I hear that Beverly Hills Cops #4 is in the works.

Do you bake or boil your beets? I bake them for a deeper flavor
If you are looking to add more flavors to your beet dishes my advice is clear and simple: you must bake them. By boiling them you will take just as long time wise, but the difference is most of the flavors will get boiled out.
Next time you are planning on making a beet dish. Try using aluminum foil add a little olive oil and sea salt. Bake for about an hour or longer depending on size of the beets at 325 F.

As most of you know I love good wine and Champaign. One of my favorite Champaign is the Krug Grande Cuvee. I prefer the Krug non Vintage. It is truly the best value for your money. Have you ever had Pro+mis+Q+ous Red Wine?
If you never had this great Red Wine and you like a good Meritage, than this is the wine for you. For those who know me I would not mislead you. This is the best wine I had under $20,$15,$12…..a bottle. Of course you would be shocked to know I only paid $8.99 a bottle.
Oh, before I continue let me give you some definitions:
