The South Kingstown RI real estate update for single family homes for October 2014 indicates a 5% increase in home sale volume over the prior month.
The fall season increase of sold South Kingstown homes has shown a 2% increase in home sales and a 3% increase in home values year over year through October 2014.

What do you know about Modular Homes Today? Modular home manufacturers have changed how they construct, design and appeal to home buyers in a tough new construction market especially in RI. I have seen some very attractive designs put up as well as some that just look like boxes added here and there to the house to increase living space requirements.
At Eldred Farm in Kingston RI, a RI builder, Paul Schurman, is stepping it up a notch with a mini eight home development of modular homes from Westchester Modular Homes in New York.

This a great reminder from Peter on preparation on a RI home for sale especially in the towns of North Kingstown, South Kingstown and Narragansett RI. I have found some pretty peculiar items in attics that people have stored there for aeons that they did not know were upstairs. Certainly make sure you have a well ventilated attic and no mold is brewing up there. Clean out whatever you can since the new homeowners do not want to be burdened with the clean out. Great tips here to follow...

With minimal foreclosures in the North Kingstown, South Kingstown, Charlestown and Narragansett RI towns, the hunkering down for the scavenger hunt for these foreclosed homes is on for the buyers. It is amazing that some of these bank REO agents do not have a clue of their inventory of their foreclosed homes. Coastlines are a Changing. It is the waterfront, ocean front and coastal homes in Southern RI that are feeling the coastline differential after the brutal winter we have had. I can see even in my home turf along the Narragansett and North Kingstown waterfront, the curves, undulations and indentations along the water edge is changing.
