George Mason High School, located in the City of Falls Church and the only high school in the city's school system, serves Falls Church City students in grades 8-12. Visible from Leesburg Pike, this high school is well known as a high achieving public school with small class sizes and stellar academics. As I sit here at my computer, we are going through our second Blizzard in a week here in the Washington D.C. Metro area. If you live out of the area, I apologize in advance if it seems like those of us who are living through this series of snow storms seem obsessed. We don't usually get a lot of snow in our area and certainly this many serious storms so close together is unprecedented! Last week I posted a blog entry about why you should go to your High School Reunions, http://activerain.com/blogsview/743633/Even-if-you-dont-want-to-GO-TO-YOUR-REUNION. Yesterday I received an email from an ActiveRain member, Capital District Real Estate, Lewis Beynon, letting me know that he,'gave you some "props" (as my kids would say). Hope you don't mind!!!' Last weekend my sister-in-law called to tell me that my brother did not want to go to their 20 year reunion. They were high school sweethearts. She, however, had been long making plans with friends and was very excited about the prospect of catching up with old high school buddies.
