If you are lucky enough to live within a quick drive of Washington, D.C., there are many great opportunities for cultural and performing arts events. Yesterday, I provide a list of all of the places that are doing Fireworks for the 4th of July. If you are not inclined to join the masses downtown on the National Mall to see the spectacular fireworks put on by the National Parks, you can still enjoy the entertainment programs. It is that time of year again...time to get out to local parks and high schools in Northern Virginia (and the rest of the country) and celebrate our freedom by watching fireworks.
