In 2022, home sales across the Charlotte region trended back to 2019 levels with 50,286 homes sold across the 16-county region. One could say the return to pre-pandemic levels of sales and the pace of sales is a more "normalized" market and that 2021/2022 were an anomaly.

Decline of 15.3% in existing home sales in 2022 versus 2021.
12 consecutive months of declines in sales year-over-year.
