beard: I lost my Scarf

When you live in a climate as cold as North Dakota's it's a good idea to own a scarf or two. An option for the men is to grow a beard. I usually do grow one for the winter and then shave it off in the Spring. While it seems like Summer is never going to get here I decided it was close enough. Today was "brave the shave" day for me.

beard: My New Winter Scarf

This is the first year in many where I've been "On Top Of" getting started on my winter scarf for the year. When I was younger it was always a goldish color scarf but now that I'm an old man it's pretty solid grey.
Today it's one week old. I think I was seventeen when the first barber told me I had the thickest beard he had ever scene. I've heard it more than 100 time scence then and I never tire of it... I just wish I could grow it on top of my head. If I let it grow freely till April … (16 comments)
