Current reports from Multiple Listing Service and TeleGraphics suggest a very strong sellers market over that of this time last year.
So what makes a strong sellers market? For starts homes for sale are down 18 persent from this times last year. There are fewer homes for buyers to compare and choose from so competition is down.
Second there is 26 increase in homes in pending status. Homes are selling and seling fast. I would expect another peak for July and leveling late in August.

"Home prices rose 9.7 percent in January from a year ago, according to data released Tuesday by CoreLogic. That’s up from an 8.3 percent increase in December and the biggest annual gain since April 2006.

Reflections Creative Art Fair is this Sunday March 10th at ALHS. The award ceremony is at 1:00pm in the PAC and the fair will run from 1pm-4pm. Larry Laird has been choosen as the Avon Lake Football Coach
Laird, 44, had been an assistant coach under Dave Dlugosz, who retired in December after winning 200 games in 21 years at the helm of the Shoremen.
Avon Lake won or shared 18 Southwestern Conference championships under Dlugosz. Laird was coordinator when the Shoremen won the 2003 Division II state championship and were runner-up the next season.
Laird attended Fairport Harding High and Edinboro University. He was an assistant at Kenton High.
