Motivation is a good thing when it comes to selling a home in a buyers market that has very few buyers!  Since most home owners are working with agents with little or no experience, the main marketing focus for selling their home will be the sign in the ground, with a reduced rider on top and a bring all offers comment in the MLS entry. ITo them, it really does not make a difference what price the home is listed at.

All too often home sellers make a fatal mistake when selling a home.  They view all agents the same, and have the thought that we get paid too much for entering the listing into the MLS.  That is a fatal mistake!  Selling a home isn't a magic trick!  It is the result of strategic marketing!  It may make the difference between listing your home, and staying on the market for an extended period of time with no offers or very low offers.  It may mean if your home real quickly that your home was way under-priced and that you gave it … (5 comments)
