The most recent sales data has just been released by our First Multiple Listing Service (FMLS) for Atlanta real estate - September 2009. I compared the results from September 2009 to the preceding Septembers back to September 2005 to develop a trend chart to see where the Atlanta real estate market is going. Sales in September 2009 as compared to September 2005 are 2020 less. That is sobering news, but something that buyers and sellers need to understand.
