As a real estate agent, you may understand the aches and pains of the cold calling approach.  My question to you is:  What is the best way for us to let real estate professionals know that our marketing tool is available to them?

We all know that agents lead a very busy life, and may not have the time to talk on the phone at the time we call, therefore, not giving us the chance to explain how our service can help you.

Our company recently released a new mobile marketing tool for real estate professionals; Goomzee Connect.  It provides at-the-property listing information and agent alerts through text messaging.

We are not necessarily trying to SELL the service when we call, we just want you to know that this kind of new technology is available and that we are a provider, when and if you decide to use this type of service.  If we get a sale out of the call, great! On some occasions we have sent out emails then followed up a week later.  However, we are unsure if agents actually read emails from companies offering services or if they just consider them SPAM.

Another approach we have taken is rather than calling the agent directly is calling the main office and requesting information be handed out at team sales meetings.

We've found the best way to explain the service and the benefits of using it is verbally.  Plus, it gives us the chance to build a relationship with our potential clients and let them know we aren't just another SPAMer, but taking that first step of becoming a credible technology partner can be a barrier.
