Recently I've come across a "new" termiology - Fusion Marketing. I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that "Fusion" will be the next big marketing buzz word.
The trend over the past 10 years has been online versus offline marketing methods, old school vs new school.
The internet has matured and is now considered main stream.
Fusion media is nothing more than tactics that integrate the use of offline media with online media.
Examples include your website on brochures, QR Codes etc.
I've always used the term "integration", but fusion does sound sexier, Don't ja think.
Personally, I'm going to adopt the term and focus some blog posts on how the fusion of offline and online marketing wopks.
