I have always been well received and treated at the Borders Book stores whenever I was there doing book signings. First off, the employees are all helpful and love their jobs. They will be missed. That joyful attitude starts from the top down which brings me to Nathan Macias the General Manager of the Rancho Cucamonga store. He sets the rhythm and it is a good one

THE MOOD OF ANY STORE DEPENDS ON THE MAN RUNNING IT.

THIS IS A HAPPY, WELL RUN STORE

GENERAL MANAGER BORDERS BOOK STORE AND PEARLS SERIES AUTHOR

It is people like Nathan who help people like me to broaden their horizons. I have been a guest in his store many times and each experience has been special and precious. The gathering of authors, customers and BORDERS who bring them together will be sorely missed...

BORDERS IS A CORPORATION....NATHAN MACIAS IS A PERSON

Remember, Borders is just a name. It is people like Nathan who make it a memory....a good memory. Nathan, here is wishing you well for all that you do and wherever you go, I congratulate the company that you end up with. Your people skills and customer servicing remain very pleasant experiences for those involved.

Goodbye Borders....farewell Nathan

Richie,

I couldn't have been more disappointed to hear that Borders is closing all their brick and mortar stores. In this area, we're down to one major bookstore, and that is disappointing.

Rich...sorry to hear that...In the bigger cities, it doesn't have such a big impact as it does in the less populated areas...good comment reminder thank you
