I learned many years ago something that benefited me all my life and that was about this subject acidolphilus or probiotics which are the good bacteria within you. Too much sugar breeds bacteria that take on the good bacteria and you need to counter it. Also, if you take any anti-biotics to offset any infection they kill off all bacteria

Consequently you need to take acidolphilus to counter the anti-biotics. You also need large doses of Vitamin C.
