Well....maybe some of us have a LOT to think about...... I know at times I struggle with being merciful, but when I see how much God and His Son (Our Messiah) Jesus wants me to be merciful because of the blessings that result, and the fact that they are glorified by it ~~ THEN it is MUCH easier to do.

I struggled with posting this for a while...it took
a LOT of time to post this also...at least 5 hours
of hard work....
Mercy is a tough subject at times......
;-)
Song didn't load. I like that song and it is probably appropriate for this post (going to take a few minutes to read this post...looking pretty good though).
Standing up for Christianity in business is a hard thing. This world doesn't want it. Believe me, I know. I tried and am still trying.
Good for you though that you had faith enough to post these things.

Alex that is wonderful. If just one soul is drawn to God by your work, it was definitely worth the 5 hours it took.
Everything you've said, which is everything God has said, is the way he wants us to live. To emulate and try to be like Jesus!
GBY Bro!
Psalm 119:105Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
That's how i feel about good preaching Alex and this post surely qualifies.Hisword will not return void and you have a gift for putting it out there.
My bad...didn't read through. Really like the post and wish the song would load (looks like they deleted it).

Alexander,
Thank you for taking the five hours to do this post! I'm amazed at the timeliness and how God works through AR and people such as yourself. I've spent the better part of the day, wishing that a dear "friend", that I saw unexpectedly last night, would finally be able to forgive me for something I did 20 years ago. Our relationship, or lack thereof, is a critical juncture. It depends on whether he will be able to forgive me or not.
As I read this installment, at first I was patting myself on the back because I consider myself a fairly merciful person. Then, I realized shame on me. 1) I need to forgive my friend for having problems forgiving me. AND 2) That I should ask God for His forgiveness because that the entire problem arose in the first place because it was I that did not exercise mercy and forgiveness towards him. Until now, I have never figured that out. Thanks for the role that you played.
Grace and peace.
p.s. I'm glad you and Hugh got things worked out. This is like a big family here.
