Spring is Blooming in Maryland - Kentlands Flowers

We had a mild winter in Montgomery County, Maryland and now we are enjoying beautiful spring weather.  In Gaithersburg, the painters are working overtime and landscapers are in every neighborhood with their spring clean up efforts.

Dolores and I live in the Kentlands community and are closely watching the spring flowers that are appearing on a daily basis.  The average last freeze date in the area is May 10th but many are taking their chances with earlier plantings.

Be sure to have your camera in hand to capture the changing colors of the season.

Beautiful photos Roy and you remind me I need to get out to my  garden and capture some pictures. My Bleeding Heart is huge and my tulips and Columbine are just about to bloom. Happy Spring to you and Dolores! (I tried 3 times to download a picture, but can't - next time!) Have a great day!

Good Evening Roy, It's been very tempting to start some early planting in our area due to the warm weather, but we did just have two days with freezing temp's. I think I'll wait, I rather be safe than sorry.

Have an AWESOME evening!

It is sometimes a good practice to revisit old blogs and reblogs. We might even find some good ideas for current posts.
