A good friend of mine is leaving our desert sunshine state of Arizona and relocating to North Carolina. Sorry Rainers, but she is an agent and a new agent in North Carolina. Technically not a new agent as she's a Broker here in Arizona. So sorry to see her go but know she'll make a difference as she returns to her roots in North Carolina. I know this because she's a GREEN® designee as well.
She and I worked on greening our Arizona Regional MLS together in 2009 and were a great team! Her persistence and tenanicity will be missed as well as our monthly coffee meetings. We were also volunteers with the US Green Building Council, which is how we met in 2009. Fond memories of speaking green with a fellow passionate agent.
She is also married to her longtime sweetie, to whom I'm privileged to know and like. He is the RE/MAX Balloon Captain here in Phoenix. And no, I haven't gotten to ride in that balloon as that's against the rules - darn it!
But the cool thing is I get to help store the balloon and trailer while they close on their home and either donate to Goodwill, or sell their things. Her comment, "It's amazing what you can accumulate in a house during 18 years."
Lucky me, I get to help out and at the same time gain some advertising in my neighborhood. Since I've only lived in this home a year not everyone knows I'm in real estate. The back of my car is wrapped but when the garage door goes down, so does the advertising. But not now! There's More Than One Way to Advertise!
