The exhibit opened on August 29, 2016 and will run through April 2017. The garden is open from 9 am until 4 pm on the days the offices are in operation.

Both sculptors are clearly drawn to steel, metal and local fauna in their creations, creatively displayed in this intimate garden.

Nick & Trudy Vandekar  - that's clearly the case.  But given we are a seaside town it makes sense.

Me too Noah Seidenberg It's been a passion of mine for many years! We own more artwork than we know what to do with!

My husband's grandfather was a sculptor and his medium was concrete casting. The funny thing is his name was Wickham too. Wonder if he was related.

I love outdoor sculpture. In Bentonville Arkansas where the Crystal bridges Museum is located there is a scuplture walk of 1/4 mile from the 21C hotel to the museum which is idyllic and beautiful.

I really just want a giant aquarium around that first one.  How cool would that be.

Jeff I have always admired how artists can take what otherwise might be considered a piece of junk and turn it into a beautiful piece of art like these sculptures.

This is so cool Jeff Dowler I never knew that was there. I'm going to have to do a pop-by soon to see this wonderful garden. I'm up there about 2-3 times per month naturally...thanks for the tourist tip!

George Souto  - well I agree. I have little artistic talent and am always impressed what artists and artisans can create.

It's a neat garden exhibit Thomas J. Nelson, Realtor, CRS . They dont rotate exihibts very often ,perhaps 2 per year. Park at at the City Library and walk just borth across the road - garden is usually open 9 - 4 unless the Offices are closed.

Hi Roy Kelley  - thanks for stopping by. Now that the rain has stopped and we have some sun I just may be out with my camera!

Thanks Michael Jacobs  you as well. I advertise in that magazine and they have asked me to do a few other articles, too, as the editor knows about all my blogging about Carlsbad. Should be fun...and hopefully will lead to some business.

Hey, there is something fishy about this art and I like it. I'm fond of all of the sculptures in your photos. Wish I could create something like that...

Hi Georgie Hunter R(S) 58089  I did not include all the photos but here is another one that IS rather rusty from the elements!
