Concerts at the Cove 2017
Music, family fun and a gorgeous sun set over San Francisco Bay will be featured at the annual “Concerts at the Cove” on June 9, 5:30 to 7:30, presenting the country band Urban Outlaws.
Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and a picnic dinner or enjoy freshly prepared street tacos from Calafia Taqueria and a variety of sausages from Café Jolie.
The Rotary Club of Alameda has teamed up with beer and wine from local purveyors. Please no outside alcoholic beverages.
There is also plenty to do for kids with face painting and the Park District’s mobile visitor center in addition to the great exhibits at the Crab Cove Visitors Center.
Sponsors encourage concert goers to bike to Crab Cove where the Alameda Rotary Interact Club will provide free, safe, and secure valet bike parking or park on Webster St. or at the Crown Beach lot at Otis. Crab Cove is located at 1252 McKay Ave, Alameda CA.
Concerts on the Cove are sponsored by the Alameda Rotary Club and the East Bay Regional Park District.
The next concert will be on July 14 and will feature the Patsychords, a Patsy Cline tribute band. The final concert of the season will be on August 11 with the Local Scene featuring Alameda’s Up and Down, a bluegrass/country/rock group on the bill.
