Hanalei Farmer's Market Flowers
A visit to the "garden isle" of Kaua'i is always treat. We've been back amost a week and it seems so long ago!
We visited the Hanalei Farmer's Market on a rainy cloudy morning to stock up on some fresh produce. I spied this collection of local flowers and had to snap a photo. They certainly brightened my morning!

We did not ask at the time but from what I can find they appear to be Awapuhi, a type of ginger

Hawaii is just a short hop for you and those are flowers I wouldn't see anywhere else.
Oh, my! Those flowers are amazing - so unlike anything you would ever see in Wyoming and from the sounds of those who have commented they wouldn't be found much anywhere else than Hawaii...
