Everyone has heard about the prestigious NW Austin Master planned Canyon Creek community, but, did you know there is a pocket of 47 homes, a real hidden treasure, built by David Weekley in a section with its own HOA called Canyon Creek West?
You can access Canyon Creek West off Hwy 620 between Anderson Mill Rd and Hwy 2222 on Boulder LN . Follow Boulder Lane as it winds through the picturesque, rolling terrain of Canyon Creek until you reach Barbrook Drive. After turning onto Barbrook Drive continue to where Ember Glen intersects with Barbrook and the Canyon Creek West community begins! There is no sign but here is a map:
Canyon Creek West is self managed and the dues are $125 annually. They have a transfer fee of $150 paid at closing and the email is ccwhoa@yahoogroups.com. This is a well established community that was built in 2004 and 2005 and quickly sold out.
Children of residents living in Canyon Creek West feed into the Leander ISD and attend Grandview Hills Elementary, Four Points Middle School and Vandegrift H.S.
Residents have access to Trail Head Park and the hike and natural trails surrounding Canyon Creek. A good deal of the community is surrounded by Balcones Canyonland Preserve. The close proximity to Lake Travis and Lake Austin is a plus as well as being close to entertainment, dining and employment options.
