Don't let this pretty golf course picture fool you into thinking Phoenix has warm weather all the time! This morning I woke up and it was in the mid 40's! This is cold to us Phoenicians!. I had to get up and out and ready for a photo shoot by 9:00 and I couldn't find any cold weather shoes. All I have out is sandals and that just don't work with stockings!! But I was short on time and had to get out the door, so sandals was the only choice. I did put the heat on in the car - which is weird to do for me!
All was fine at the house until we went out to backyard to shoot the pool and patio. BRRRRRR! I took one step from the patio and the wind went right through me. I said - holy smokes it's cold out! Wayne, our photographer starts laughing. Oh don't say that he says! You do remember how much fun it is on photo shoots all summer, right? And remember that estate I shot for you that took hours? That was the hottest day ever!! And yes, I did remember that shoot and I felt so bad for him that day - he was dripping wet and what did I do? Made sure he got plenty of water.
But he sure did 'snap' me back into reality - fast! So now I sit at my desk with sandals on and am actually appreciating my cold feet! I can hear the wind blowing and the chimes making music and it has me thinking - it's a good day for soup for lunch!
