Does your home need repairs or a new paint job? The City of Aurora is accepting applications from income-qualified homeowners needing assistance in making necessary health and safety repairs to their homes. All programs are first-come, first-served until the funding is depleted.
The city's housing rehabilitation programs include the emergency Repair Grant Program, which provides grants and/or loans to address urgent home system problems that are an immediate threat to the health and safety of the occupants, such as malfunctioning furnaces or water heaters and broken sewer and water main lines. Additional loans are available to correct conditions that pose a hazardous situation for the occupant's health, safety or well-being. to apply, visit AuroraGov.org/CommunityDevelopment. ~ City of Aurora Paint-A-Thon Program - provides exterior home painting for older adults (60 years or older) with disabilities at no cost.
