A New York Feng Shui Consultant in Queens:  Welcome to BLUSH!  Whitestone, Queens.

As a New York and Long Island based Feng Shui Consultant I never know where my next job will lead me.  I had received a contact for a  Feng Shui Consultation in Whitestone, Queens for a Women's Accessories and Fashion Store called "Blush."

Laura Cerrano and I headed off to Queens, New York on Saturday for the Feng Shui Consultation and arrived a few minutes early.  We went to see if the store was yet opened and it was-and were greeted with wonderful music, lovely items and accessories for Women and a truly FEEL GOOD STORE.  The Energy in the store was already amazing.

Upon meeting my client, Leyla, the proud new owner, we learned she had an interest and knowledge in Feng Shui and wanted to have a Feng Shui Expert come to visit the store prior to it's grand opening.  Feng Shui consultants look for many things in a retail space to ensure it will do well.  Placement of the cash register is essential as well as having an open floor plan and not creating too many things that are distracting from the merchandise.

We also seek to instill good energy into retail stores and clear them of Predecessor Energy Let's Talk About Predecessor Energy: A Feng Shui Post from Feng Shui Long Island  so the owner can "start fresh."  We check mirrors Mirror, Mirror----WAIT! Don't Hang Me Yet!! by Feng Shui Long Island   and what they are reflecting and oftentimes we will also visit a client's home if requested to make sure their home will support their business from a Feng Shui point of view.

Leyla had done a beautiful job in her arrangement of the lovely jewelry, handbags and even cute little coats for Fido so he doesn't feel left out.  We went over the Bagua and the Five elements and Intention will be put into the changes we wanted to make to ensure success.  We also spoke about a marketing plan and (always my favorite area), Helpful People  "HELPFUL PEOPLE" in Feng Shui: We ALL Need Them....by Feng Shui Long Island & Manhattan         .

I know that "BLUSH" in Queens will be a huge success.  The energy in the place is wonderful and it will attract new people and passersby alike.  And they will return due to the lovely merchandise, very reasonable pries and the good energy in the store that calls for repeat customers.

BLUSH accessories and fashion is located at 150-55  14thAvenue in Whitestone Queens New York and the Grand Opening is Saturday, August 16th from 4 to 8pm.  The usual store hours will be Monday through Saturday 10am to 10pm and Sunday 12 to 5.  It's worth the trip to visit BLUSH, you'll not only FEEL good, you'll come out with some beautiful fashion accessories!

Btw, Why is it so many of my clients LOVE Frogs?  They are thought to bring in good luck and energy and some frogs with a coin are called "Money Toads" or "Money Frogs."  This will do just fine : )

Carole, what a fun themed store that to me at least looks full of energy.

Wow! Looks like quite a store there!  Wish it were closer - those handbags look terribly interesting.  Thank heaven she doesn't have shoes - or I might be on a road trip!

Carole....  it's amazing.... I never thought about going this route, in regards to a business. I just thought homes when it came to you.  Just imagine the possibilities. And a high energy level in any place is a huge positive and can certainly make things easier.

Carole--I find it so interesting that the Feng Shui principles can not only help sell a home but also can get a business off on the right foot too.

Carole, I too, was unaware of Feng Shui in business. It makes total sense though. If a store doesn't "feel" good, I don't spend much time in it and probably wouldn't return. BTW- I love frogs! I even have a little fog watch that I clip on my belt loop each day.

Gary, I already loved the energy when we walked in.  I know in my heart it is going to be very successful.

Carol, She does have boots and is planning on adding all types of new items....you just might be coming here after all!

Sally, We loved it, the jewlery is terrific as well.  I had to keep reminding myself I wasn't there to shop :)

Jeff, I have been doing retail for years....they come with an unusual set of possible issues that we look for and then I always cover marketing and even theft precaution.  I love it.

Teri, It is a wonderful way to open a business or I am called if an owner seems to not be doing well...they often need a different set of "eyes" to see what we can do to change the energy.

Libby, It's funny that so many of my clients are drawn to them.  They are asupicious in Feng Shui and people often use Money Frogs (or Toads) that come with a coin in their mouth to draw in more money.  (If you've got them, use them.  Put one or two in your back left hand corner in your home with the INTENTION of more money coming in!

Carole- Sounds like this assignment was one of the easier ones, and one where you could see that the Owner paid attention to what Feng Shui dictates. Now...what about finishing your book LOL :)

Kathy, I know, it's a long time.  But the days are so sunny and beautiful I hate to lose them indoors.  And lots of work.  I am not able to designate a time, it either "comes" or it doesn't :(
