There is always something to be thankful for, all we need to do is, look around us and we will noticed them. It could be people, friends, pets or something else. I could write hundreds of posts what I am thankful for, but that is not the purpose of this post.
I am so grateful and thankful for the Classical Radio Station FM 91.5 that I listen to, depending what day it is from 14-18 hours a day. No matter how turbulent the day is, no matter how difficult some of the clients are, the Classical Music in the background keeps me grounded. When I am off the phone it is so nice to get the calming music in the background.
I could be driving and the heavy traffic or the out of control drivers near and around me do not rattle me, and if they do rattle me the music is there to calm me down. It does not matter if it is Mozart, Beethoven or Brahms to name a few, the best part is, I never know what they will be playing. One thing I am sure it will be calming and soothing.
When I am at home by myself, every room has a Bose System and I have it channeled from one room to another, same great calming music. KUSC is there for me, they broadcast from downtown Los Angeles and they are owned and operated by the University of Southern California. They are the largest non-profit classical music station in the country and the only classical radio station in the Greater Los Angeles area
So, I am one of their biggest fans, even though we have hundreds of CD’s from all the different types of music, when I am by myself that is all I listen to. No, the TV is not on, no Talking Heads Radio Stations, just pure classical music and I am so grateful, that they operate seven days a week 24hrs a day. So what keeps you calm in such a turbulent business?
