Mortgage interest rates start increasing in 2020 but they were under 3% for a while but at the end of 2021 were at 4%. This year they are above 5% already
According to the Federal Reserve Board, they may increase 5 to 7 times this year. Those increases are going to make some homebuyers unable to qualify for that they were looking for and either they buy a lower priced home, move to a different area or choose a condo or towhouse
