The Holiday Season is fast upon us and as we were driving down the road on our way home from the grocery store in Bergen County NJ, the other evening, we started thinking about being Realtor's® at this wondrous time of year. In our area, there are homes of all different styles, sizes, conditions, etc.. Some homes had elaborate displays of lights, blow up Santas and Snowmen while others had placed a simple wreath … (4 comments)

Why You Should Keep Your Household Records Accessible

Keep anything pertaining to the maintenance and repairs of your home in a File or Binder that is clearly marked "Home Records". This will help you to remember where it is at all times. We all know that memories fade with time { I … (6 comments)

bergen county: Monday Monday| Spring Will Be Here Soon - 02/16/09 03:47 AM
Soon we will be back and doing this sort of thing. I personally can't wait for the smell of fresh cut grass and the flowers coming up.

Much nicer to be out cutting the lawn than shoveling snow.
Then we can go and play on the slides as well. These guys look scared to go down. :-)

Spring is getting closer everyday.
Hang in there. It wont be long now. Make it a great day!

bergen county: FaceBook Me Me's| Another Form of Me Me - 02/15/09 04:38 AM

The Infamous Bucket List.
Just in case you all hadn't seen these come up in your FaceBook recently, here's another form of a Me Me that has surfaced. I normally don't have the want and or time to participate in this frivolity no matter how much fun they can be.
I just thought I'd pass along this new wacky form so someone doesn't Me Me {Me} in the future. Not a big fan of them sorry to say.  Some of these questions/statements are truly bizarre. Who wrote these anyways?
Everything you wanted to know about me and maybe some more you don't … (14 comments)

Ground Hogs Day!

When I decided to start up my own blog, I thought to myself that many of you know that I'm into photography. I thought what better place to share my love of my local towns. Towns that I have grown up in. They are continuing to change and grow right in front of my very eyes/lens. To do this on Active Rain would be a perfect venue I thought.
There are so many talented people on A/R that I truly admire, and look up to. I thought I could get some hints, some tips and learn some lessons on how to take better pictures for myself … (4 comments)
