More and more people are growing their own gardens, becoming more ecologically aware.  Over the past year, stores have been selling out of products to help people make jams, jellies, pickles, grow gardens, make homemade foods. 
Residents of Baltimore County have until March 31 to purchase rain barrels and compost bins in order to practice more ecologically sustainable methods.  Composting helps convert vegetable food waste and yard waste into rich soil enhancing material while collecting and reusing chemical-free rainwater which can boost your garden's success.
