The water was also documented as a 500 yr flood level in some parts of our region. I have seen agents in cars of all types and even a motorcycle for business purposes. What strikes me is as real estates evolves on the Internet .. It seem there is also a shift in the way homes are shown. Example.. my first car in RE was the Camry in the mid 90's 4 door for buyer clients. Then bigger to the Yukon , actually because I was more of a list agent and needed good sign room. I loved the Yukon but traded for the Toyota Sequoias when they came out . "Little " Washington, NC Waterfront/ photo Michele Connors It has been quite a busy month... and now that its the end of the month, I have been working with my clients ( both buyers and sellers) preparing for their closings. Some on the 30th and some on the 31st... Today was full of paperwork like settlement statements , insurance verifications, refrigerator delivery, final repair inspection, utility questions and calling in one more home warranty. I got a call today from a gentleman following up on a trail of emails his daughter, who is a local East Carolina University student, had been involved in. The daughter had been communicating with someone online by answering a "Nanny ad " for summer work. The person told the girl they lived at an address which I happen to have on the market. It is a luxury home.
The sellers do not have small children and are NOT looking for a nanny. The "bait" is that the gal was to receive a check in the mail to buy some x box and game type … (12 comments)

Today was a bitter sweet one... my son Beau and his awesome girlfriend are taking leap and moving to Georgia. They both have found a job together and with our blessing they "shipped " out of here today ! I am excited to see them soar.. to watch them support each other , and to see them grow. I am excited as can be and hoping their two dogs are good for the trip and adjust to their new home. This is something that I giggle at every time I see it in my photo file. I know we can all relate to this in some sort of fashion ! As kids we played the game "Operator " where you whisper in one persons ear and down the line the message is relayed to the last person quoting what was said... it always got twisted and many times became outrageously funny ! Now a days texting seems to bring that same funny feeling up when auto correct decides to change what you said into something way off subject... Be clear … (7 comments)
Jack my bulldog just turned 6 last week and I figured this fundraiser event would a nice birthday tradition for us to enjoy together. Yesterday we did the 5k segment of the The Pirate Chase Race Fest 2014 . 48:23 minutes but heck , I was pushing 80 lbs !!
