I was inspired earlier today by Jessica Horton who has started a new group for  "Cliff Hangers".  Now those of us who are writing a series have a unique place to group all of our posts together.  Thank you Jessica!
I've been wanting to write a series on Seminole County, Florida.  Seminole County is north of dowtown Orlando and is the home to the cities of Lake Mary, Sanford, Altamonte Springs, Longwood, Casselberry, Winter Springs and Oviedo.
Lake Mary was voted the #4 Best Place To Live by Money Magazine and Winter Springs was in the top 40...  Two cities in the same Central Florida … (2 comments)

Education is the KEY TO SUCCESS! - 11/29/07 05:40 PM
I can't imagine having to scramble a week before my license renewal to complete my 14 hours of continuing education. My license renewal is in March of '08 and I completed the requirement months ago.
Now I'm just taking classes for me, no credit, no roll-over minutes...  just because I want to better myself.

Seminole County is a great place to live and The Historic City of Sanford is ready to get you in the Holiday Spirit!  Sanford is presenting their Christmas in the Square this Friday, November 30 at 6:00 pm.  The event features live entertainment, face painters, balloon artists and the official tree-lighting ceremony.  Santa will be arriving in Magnolia Square at 6:00 pm.

Would all the REAL Sellers Please Stand UP! - 11/25/07 04:53 PM
Our area inventory in Central Florida seems to be leveling off.   In Seminole County the inventory has increased by a few hundred homes and may even off as the end of the month approaches.  The current inventory of available homes in Lake Mary has decreased and the sales are in line with the same number that we had in October.
I've been looking at a lot of homes in Lake Mary over the past few days for a buyer who is moving from out of the area. After talking to several REALTORS® it is become clear that many of the homes "on the market" are really not listings … (2 comments)

I've been looking through the MLS to narrow down a search for a buyer. I continue to be disappointed, and yes I know that everyone and their brother has written a post on the this subject, but a lot of the photos I'm seeing are pathetic. How can anyone think that buyers and other REALTORS will be motivated from them to look at their property?  These people need to realize that...
ONE photo is not acceptable!  Our local MLS allows 10...  I have had 10 photos of a 1,000 square foot condo! Why can't I see more photos of these listings?A photo taken from inside a car is just … (7 comments)

Florida Builders Says... "It May Not Survive The Housing Slump" - 11/17/07 12:39 PM
WOW, I was really surprised yesterday to read in the Florida Realtors Early Bird News that another builder is considering filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.  I attended a luncheon hosted by Engle Homes (New home bulder in Central Florida) at the end of last month to announce the launch of their new 2008 home designs and new communities.  I have a growing concern that this will not be last builder to stun the industry.

November 18th - Winter Springs - 26th Annual Holiday Parade - 11/14/07 05:40 PM

Looking for something to do this Sunday instead of a long exhausting trip to the Mall?  Get your holidays off to a good start and join the fun in Winter Springs for the 26th Annual Holiday Parade. 
The parade route starts at Winter Springs Elementary (SR 434) at 2:30 pm and continues to Victoria Square Plaza.  Bands from Winter Springs Elementary, Lyman High School and Tuskawilla Prep School are scheduled to perform.  Also there is a "Special Guest" scheduled to arrive from the North Pole.  This event is always a favorite among young and old alike.
