Is this the Mating Game? These two Red-headed Woodpeckers seem to be doing some type of mating ritual on the side of the Pinellas Trail in Crystal Beach Florida.
While out for our morning walk here in Crystal Beach Florida, we spotted these two Red-headed Woodpeckers and I was glad that my iPhone was along so I could shoot this short video of what was taking place! You never know what you are going to see, so always have your camera ready when out and about!

Yes, I am taking the first half of today and going boating with my Ronnie! We are heading out in a few and I won't be back until after lunch! The weather is picture perfect, so we decided to take advantage of it.

Indeed, any day on the water is a good day and we have plenty of good days down here in Crystal Beach Florida!
Yesterday I took the day off and went out on the boat with Ronnie. Naturally, he caught dinner! I relaxed and spent a little time in the water off Honeymoon Island State Park when he brought the boat close to shore for us to cool off.

Yes, yesterday was indeed just another beautiful sunset over Crystal Beach Florida.
It had been a picture perfect day, with temperatures in the low 70's and beautiful blue skies. Perfect for being out showing homes to a new client.
So naturally, we also had a picture perfect sunset. Today it should be going up to 79 degrees, so it is going to be a wonderful day to spend time in the park, taking a long walk.

The whole family just hanging out....or at least that is what it looks like to me! I saw this family of IBIS up in a tree while taking an early morning walk a few days ago and could not resist this photo opportunity!

Crystal Beach Florida is right on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico and in my opinion, a fantastic place to live!
The entire community is so small that nobody lives more than five blocks from the water! That means taking a walk to the shore to watch the sunset or to watch the birds feeding first thing in the morning is something that is extremely easy to do.

It is a beautiful but chilly morning here in lovely Crystal Beach Florida today. The high is supposed to be 70 degrees today but it won't be there until around 2 pm.
Today is my granddaughter's official kid's birthday party as well and it will be in a local park. Guess it is going to be sweater weather all day today!

Red fish are back and the fishing is good off Crystal Beach Florida.
It was pretty windy and cold for a few days and I am pretty sure that even the red fish headed to deeper water for a while but they are back and although he had to wear long pants and left in a jacket, Ronnie was out with his buddy Bob once again today. The sunshine and blue skies are indeed back here in Crystal Beach Florida but that wind continues and is brutal!
Our morning walk was along the bayou and that was fine but when we got out to the seashore along the Gulf of Mexico, I stayed there for about 5 minutes and got away from the winds quickly! It is COLD!
Our temperatures this morning were in the mid-50's and the wind gusts are still 40 mph with steady winds at 30 mph along the shore.

Hurricane Sandy is bringing a lot of wind to Crystal Beach Florida this morning and our high temperature is only going to be 73!
That means break out the slacks and long sleeve shirts for this kid. I have homes to show today and I want to be warm enough.
My morning walk along the seashore was REALLY windy, with gusts up to 35 mph but as soon as I got a block away, it was much calmer again.

While the east coast of Florida is experiencing rain from Hurricane Sandy, we are having really fabulous weather. It was a picture-book kind of day!

My day began with a nice walk from Crystal Beach down to Ozona........a little under three miles. Then I had a wonderful breakfast at Ohana Cafe before returning home to work in the veggie garden for a few hours.

When the fog burns off, bliss is found........those words came to me while I was taking my early morning walk through a foggy Crystal Beach Florida.
I was listening once again to an audiobook by Robert Thurman titled "The Jewel Tree Of Tibet" and reflecting on how knowing one's self through meditation is comparable with what is happening right now, right here in Crystal Beach Florida.
