If you have ever visited the North Georgia/Western North Carolina, you know that we have some beautiful mountains, but not a lot of snow. So, what's a snow lover to do?
Visits Cataloochee Ski Area in Maggie Valley, NC
Cataloochee is only about 2 hours or less from Blairsville GA, Hiawassee GA, Hayesville NC and Murphy NC.
They have 18 slopes and trail, a lodge and a full rental shop. Tube World, also located in Maggie Valey offers a children's snowplay area and tubing - it is highly recommended that you make a reservation at Tube World.
