This reenactment is put on during the weekend before Thanksgiving every year, rain or shine. This year was beautiful and sunny and in the 70 - 80 degree range. We could even see the battle from the freeway before we got to the plantation.l
They shuttled spectators to the battle field by hayride. These were some of the tents along the way.
The battle was in full swing when we got there. We were on the side closest to the freeway. The troups were good about firing in unison. It made a large bang (6 comments)
