I never know what my dear old 94 year old dad will come up with next. I was visiting him in Vancouver and we sat down to enjoy a plate of seafood with oysters, he piped up with this cute little rhyme from back in his past. Now I've heard a lot of his stories and poems, and songs because those old memories have a way of sticking, but this one was completely new to me. From now on I'll never see an oyster without thinking of this tongue twister.

The blue marble tree growing in Haiku Maui Hawaii I have never seen anything like this before... bright blue fruits dropping from a tree in Haiku Maui. So I looked it up, and apparently the blue marble tree comes from Australia, and is very sacred in India, yet here it is growing in Haiku Maui. Of course most anything grows quite well in Haiku so I shouldn't be surprised. They were on the ground in all stages of fresh and decayed. Tuesday's Treasures - Kona girl meets little brother Bandit in Haiku Maui My little 4 year old JRT got to meet her 3 year old little brother from the same parents. Here they are meeting for the first time at a Haiku Maui property for sale. After a few sniffs and growls (on Kona's part) they were off and running and romping through the trails like wild animals.
