I'm thankful today for who my Mom taught me to be.
My Mom faced a lot of pandemonium in her life especially with her health.  But she never gave up! That is what I admire most about her.  Three years ago last week, my Mom completed her journey on earth and left behind a huge legacy. I put this little video scrapbook together so I can always cherish her memory.

My latest KODAK purchase will net me at least $220 in savings and I'm already lining up my options as to what I will spend it on.

One of the reasons why I live in the north side of Dauphin County Pa is the quaint farmer's markets. 
Especially this one just outside of Gratz, PA. You can find anything you might need from fresh fruits and veggies to fresh meats or even seasonal plants.  You can also find homemade donuts, pretzels and jewelry.

I am very new at blogging, as a matter of fact, this happens to be my first blog. 
And as I reflect on Veteran's Day today I am taken back to when I was active duty myself.  The other day I saw yet another commentary on the life of an entertainer that died over a year ago. I do not want to take away anything from Michael Jackson and the contributions he made to the entertainment world, however, it disturbs me that one man would receive so much coverage concerning his death when in reality, he did very little in comparison.
