Short Sale vs. Foreclosure? You make the call! 
I get the question from people all the time: short sale or foreclosure, which is the better option? My knee-jerk reaction is always “Are you kidding? Short sale, of course!” This has been mostly because I was always under the impression that a short sale, although still a ding on your credit, was gentler on the score than a foreclosure.

Ronnie is our youngest kitty and only girl...and she milks that for all she can. She is a Maine Coon and very much into her looks. She has a Cleopatra sort of personality and takes great care in how she presents herself, even when just sunning herself by the window. She also likes to be carried around, because she is a queen, afterall. Ronnie's favorite pastimes is playing catch, running after strings, and watching some tv to relax. It's good to be the queen!

CHASE RECOMMENDS CERTIFIED DISTRESSED PROPERTY EXPERT AGENT (CDPE) TO SELLERS
I do a lot of CHASE short sales, so I wasn’t surprised when one of their customers called me, but what I was very pleasantly surprised with, is the mention of the CDPE designation in the letter CHASE sent to their customer.
CHASE is the second-largest bank in the US, and it makes me think that they are having a good experience with CDPEs to go as far as to instruct their distressed sellers to specifically contact a CDPE agent for their short sale.
