It was 6am, I had put the signs out that said “Open House – Black Friday One Day Sales Price” just to see what would happen and to my surprise, I had a lot of people stop off and I got a lot of names of potential buyers out there looking for a deal!

I love listing homes and I do a lot of open houses, but I can't do all of them on all my listings as I just wouldn't have time to get them all in even if I did them every weekend, there still wouldn't be enough time in the month to get them all done.
Lucky for me I have great sellers that realize that even if I held the house open every weekend, that probably isn't what is going to sell the house, but it sure can't hurt. Usually an open house is a way to find buyers for a … (67 comments)

As many people in the rain know, I'm a huge fan of music and especially Elvis! I can hear you thinking (do I smell smoke?) "How can Elvis be a lead generator?"
Well, I was at my open house today, typing away on my laptop, with my legs put up so my computer sat nicely on them and I could type more comfortably when a couple walked in and wanted to know more about the house.

OK - In reality I'm saving him! It was either go to work with me, or go to a baby shower and I think he is way too young to have to learn about the torture that an event like that can be on a guy.
20 woman in one room ooohing and awwing over all the outfits! If I want to have my son experience that at age six, I'll take him to his first rock concert!
