For those of us in the real estate / mortgage business, we're very familiar with the acronym: P.I.T.I.
NO! It's not a healthy pocket bread.
A first-time buyer should know about this, and it's a handy, simple group of letters -- that could save you money and help with your monthly budget planning!
P.I.T.I = Principal, Interest, Taxes and Insurance.

There was a blog post last week written by Paddy Pizappi which was a "Members Only" blog, so I won't cite it here. She asked a rhetorical question about why we don't have a 'buyer registry.'
In a nutshell, she wrote about -- what I have now termed: "the pseudo-buyer."
This blog is written for both the professional, i.e., real estate agents and, the non-professionals, i.e., the general public.
For the professionals among us . . . you might have forgotten. And if you have, here's the magic formula!

I've been using GoDaddy.com for many years.
They're okay.
Just to be clear (disclosure, disclosure, and disclosure): I am not promoting their services. I have no vested interest either personally or business-wise with GoDaddy.com . . . I just pay them a ton o'money for my domains -- I collect them.
For some reason I have about 30 and it's pretty pathetic, really. Instead of turning into a little, old lady collecting cats, I collect domains. And two years sure does go by … (17 comments)

If you're not familiar with the U.S. Government Bookstore, get yourself acquainted! It's a great place to browse, find books that you might not find at Borders, and shop.
The website is very manageable and user friendly. Personally, I don't care for too much clutter -- and yes, websites can have too much going on.
Recently, the U.S. Government Bookstore has added a new link, "Travel and Tourism" and it's a wonderful time of the year to think about vacations, travel and being a tourist!

Pambiche (pronunced: Pam-beach'a) is a great escape! A client who left Cuba years ago turned me on to this place, and I'm SO glad she did!
I felt like my favorite dish "Vaca Frita" and had my fix! This dish is splashed with fresh citrus 'sauce' that cools the seared beef which is marinated in incredible delicious herbs and spices. Served with a side of delicate rice, and beans (either red or black) all for $8.00! Can you beat that!

I'm totally nuts right now.
Once again, my dog Molly has run off! She does that . . . TOO OFTEN.
Five years ago, this was how we found her -- a runaway! A friend of mine was moving, saw a little puppy running amuck, picked her up, then phoned me. My friend couldn't deal with a little, stray puppy -- she was in the process of moving. She wanted to know if I could help.
SURE -- bring the little pup over. SUCKER is clearly stamped on my forehead.

I keep reading all about the banks, short sales -- how long they take to close (if, in fact, they do), and what a nightmare this is. Frustrating to be a listing agent on a short . . . frustrating to be a buyer's agent on a short, etc. CASH buyers offering full list price . . . never get a response from the bank.
