Parking Enforcement in Kentlands
Be careful where you park in the commercial areas of Kentlands. It is reported that the Gaithersburg Police Department is ticketing vehicles that overstay the 30 minute limit on some of the parking spaces.
If you are going out for dinner or have an appointment, you may wish to avoid the 30 minute spaces. The fine is $60. There is plenty of free parking with no time limits. Count the extra block you may need to walk as part of your daily exercise program.

Montgomery County, Maryland Parking Enforcement
During the summer months, some of the residential streets, including streets in Kentlands, have a parking shortage near community swimming pools and recreational facilities. We just received a phone call from a home owners association asking about parking regulations. Residents and visitors need to be alert to avoid parking fines or towing.
The Police Department looks for the citizens of our communities to observe and comply with all parking laws of Montgomery County. Most fines are $50.00 for each offense and the vehicle could also be subject to tow and storage fees. This is a list of … (22 comments)
