This video will make you CRY with laughter ( it did me anyway). It's seven minutes of genius from Kid's Say the Darndest Things with Bill Cosby and an incredible 4 year old. I hope you enjoy it! Which do you think he grew up to be, a Rockstar or a Paleontologist?  … (5 comments)

funny: Secret Submarine Base for sale - 08/16/12 01:31 PM
I have had some extra time to read while I was on vacation and found this article online about a submarine base that is for sale. The Norwegian Navy is selling their secret, mountainside submarine base. NATO spent $494 million back in 1967 to build it but it is for sale now for the bargain price of only $17.3 million... If you happen to have a submarine, it is a great buy!! LOL

Speechless Sunday  - The Weasel -  mmm that was yummy

This is Weasel... I named her that as a baby because she would stand up on her back legs and hold her head up with her ears back.. It was a funny site and reminded me of a weasel... so... not sure in this photo what was happening, but she looks like she just enjoyed a meal! Or maybe she just spotted a new meal.. :)

A few years back when our girls were in high school, we were all four away for the weekend. Naturally, we had locked all the doors and set the alarm before we left. Our oldest daughter’s boyfriend must not have gotten the memo because when he came … (13 comments)

Ahh, now this is a much needed sign, for sure...I would have never figured that out on my own!

I have heard of this type of population control before. In fact, it is well documented on at least one episode of The Simpson's. It's really not a bad tool, frankly. I think it should also be used for certain other segments of the population as well: "Open to A**holes," "Open to Dumba**es," "Open to Mean People," "Open to People who Hurt Other People," "Open To People Who Abandon Children," and so many … (12 comments)

funny: I'm Missing the Humor Retention Gene! - 01/19/11 01:46 PM

Some of the funniest jokes I have ever heard, I heard while Charlie was in the Marine Corps. And, as you might imagine, there were some “”off color” jokes every now and then, but they were always told in jest and from good hearts who meant no harm.
The thing is though…I cannot remember a single, solitary one. Not even one. I have always been like that…I just don’t remember jokes – no matter how good they are! I say I’m going to write it down when I hear a good one, but by the time I get to … (10 comments)

funny: So...Read Any Good Signs Lately? - 11/15/10 02:53 PM
You know how from time to time you will see a segment on some bloopers T.V. show or maybe an e-mail will come across showing a collection of signs or announcements on signs where the intended message didn’t quite come across? You’ve seen those, right? Of course you have.  Well, I have been noticing quite a few in my neck of the woods lately, and I am going to make it a point to photograph them from now on so that I can share them with you. They are always good for a chuckle.

funny: UPS GUY: WHAT CAN RAINBOW DO FOR YOU? - 11/01/10 04:06 PM
I just ALMOST witnessed the funniest thing ever! In fact, I did catch the tail end of the transaction, and it was hilarious, so I’m not sure I could have handled what must have transpired only seconds earlier. Here’s the scoop…
We have a parrot. His name is Rainbow, and he is a Harlequin Macaw. We got him in 1999 when he was six months old, which makes him eleven now. It is not uncommon for a macaw to live 70 – 80 years in captivity, so they age sort of like a human.
Well, each evening (weather permitting), Rainbow gets … (12 comments)

funny: IT'S NOT FUNNY! BEES ATTACKED ME! THEY DID! (I HATE YOU!) - 09/22/10 03:16 PM
So I do my part to help out with the yard work because we have a large yard and because I actually enjoy doing it.  Now I'm not afraid of hard work, so one hot Saturday not long ago, I was weed eating the creek that runs right through our front yard...no big deal--I've done it a hundred times before. Well, I believe in being prepared for the unthinkable, so I am wearing jeans, heavy hiking socks with hiking boots, long sleeve shirt, a helmet with ear things that muffle sound and a screen to cover my face (attached to helmet) and … (9 comments)

funny: HOW MANY MEXICAN RESTAURANTS CAN THERE POSSIBLY BE??? - 09/18/10 09:57 AM
It never ceases to amaze me how a Mexican restaurant can afford to stay in business around here. First of all, we're talking about a city with a population of about 40,000. And at last count, there were like--30,000 Mexican restaurants! I mean, good lord! And you cannot drive around the entire area twice without seeing a new one either going up or going in where something else used to be. It is AMAZING. I swear they BREED during the night. And they have really clever Hispanic names that leave us stupid Caucasians perplexed...names like "El Cactus." ... ... ... El Cactus? Seriously? What the Hell??? Doesn't that … (6 comments)

funny: EWW!!! DON'T USE THOSE!!! THOSE ARE OLD AND DIRTY!!! - 09/09/10 03:44 PM
So I'm at the market today to pick up a few groceries, and I observe something in the parking lot that I have seen happen hundreds of times before. It is a conditioned behavior that must be so deep rooted in our psyche we don't even know that we do it...either that or we simply lie to ourselves (liar, liar) in order to have the fantasy that awaits us on the INSIDE of the store! Here's what I mean...
You know those 'corrals' they place in parking lots of markets and Targets and most all stores that have shopping carts? They are 1) … (6 comments)

funny: I DO NOT STEAL COOKIES!!! (stop looking at me) - 09/08/10 03:31 PM
You ever go into a grocery or market and, in the course of your shopping, come across something you felt you simply MUST taste? Except it was pre-packaged and you would have had to open it to taste the product inside? Like cookies, for instance? And have you ever gone ahead and opened the cookies and tried one??? And then found out that you LOVED the cookies so you decided to buy a bag??? Except that you didn't buy THAT bag for two reasons: 1) it had already been opened and 2) the skinny little...uh...cashier...would have judged you if you had presented … (9 comments)
