Speechless Sundays: It's "Trop Rock" Time with Highway 1 at Jump's - 06/24/12 03:45 AM
I didn't win at horseshoes but it was another Saturday night of great music at Jump's Tiny Tavern in Cocoa Beach, Fl. That's me second from the right with The Highway 1 Band. The members are: Mark Woolley, drums and vocals, Joel Thomas, guitar and vocals and Terry Wallace, bass and vocals. I played my harmonicas and added vocals to their "Trop Rock" sound. A good time was had by all! I'll take some video next time.

As promised, here is some of the video I took of the Third Annual 2012 Super Boat Races in Cocoa Beach, Forida. It was definitely "Thunder on the Beach" and the event brings in many tourist and local dollars that help my area to sustain growth in the continuing economic crisis. What could be better medicine than Super Boats, sun, surf, suds, bikinis and the roar of powerful engines?

Just Jammin' at Jump's Tiny Tavern in Cocoa Beach, Florida. The best damn little bar in Brevard County, Florida. John Mayer AKA "Surfside Johnny" has played all over Florida as a solo entertainer as has Johnny B. I sat in for a few non rehearsed songs and it was a fun night! Watch it in HD 720p or 1080p for the best quality.

Speechless Sundays: Orange Surprise! - 06/03/12 05:18 AM
This beautiful orange lily just popped open this morning in an old pot whose flowers had long ago died. I don't recall these lilies ever being there, so the seed must have migrated. Maybe it's a sign that something good is going to happen. A "windfall" perhaps? Darn, I didn't buy a lottery ticket!
