Short Sale approved! Wow...

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with 1st Prime Realty CA BRE LIC 01456248

I'm glad to say success is on the Horizon, with the amount of Activity I'm getting I feel like the one who is benefiting from the Stimulus Package. In reality I've stayed grounded, and never took information from the media into account. What we pay attention sometimes effect our everyday decisions.

So I turned a negative to a Positive. I shifted with the Real Estate Market, I focus on how many people I can help in becoming a home owner, along the way referrals are coming in. which is GRRREAT! Keep on coming, the part of my career I enjoy the most is when I'm able to help Clients in their Real Estate needs. Recently one of my Short Sales been approved, and I'm getting more Short Sales, and Buyers.

My suggestion to the Real Estate Professionals that are reading this, is to become an Expert in Short Sales, some will close, some won't, However now you're in Business. You able to promote a property with your yard signs, Flyer's, Open Houses, Sign Calls(BUYERS.) and the list goes on. good luck and wish you future success.

I agree, being a short sale realtor is the only way to make a living in state like California.  What better way to get a truly motivated seller and a home priced dirt cheap!  Now just getting the lenders to cooperate...

I recommend going to a few Short Sales Training seminars, There are some good, and some are better, but knowledge is what you will take away from these seminars. Remember when selling short sales there are various Professionals such as Escrow Companies that can help you find the best Short Sales negotiator to assist you with the process. Remember to ask them do they provide a short sale package, and ask the negotiator for references of the Real Estate agents they've helped in the past.Good Luck

Don --Short sales are the way things are now and will be here for a long time. I have a short listing now ,and the hardest thing is to  get the seller to stop calling the mortgage company,  I do understand that he's very anxious to get an approval but this can also slow down the process. Some days He'll call 2 and 3 times a day, and not only that, every time He calls He gets different information. We had to forbid to call anymore and let the negotiators do their job, maby we'll get answer soon.  Glad to hear of your approval !
