Hi Joan...Where the heck did you go, Maine?  Massachusettes?  Connecticut?  500 miles!  You could have almost made it to my house.  Of course, you'd need to drive another 500+ to get back home.

Hope that was a successful Saturday for you.

There's also apparently a $1,500 federal tax credit for home improvements, which can help sellers, buyers, and those staying put, like past Clients who would appreciate knowing.

Jim ~  Good point, there are a lot of possibilities for all buyers.  There also some some green tax credits as well.  We will be going over those new tax credit during our next seminar.

Jennifer~  Everything is in place for buying. .. the credit, low interest rates, and more affordable homes.. now buyers just have to feel confident they will have a job!  I hope that the spring market will bring out the buyers who have been waiting for things to stabilize.

Debbie~  This fair is always a good one.  I think we will see a lot of Buyers giving us a call to follow up and see what is happening in the market today.  We certainly have a lot of more affordable home now than we have had in the past several years.

Janice - you make a good point here.  Although there were fewer people than in past couple of years, the people who are calling have good credit and are in a position to buy!

Hi Jennifer -- Good luck with the first time homebuyer seminar.  I think you are well prepared for this seminar.   I guess a lot of homebuyers still don't know about the tax credit. So, I would remind them about that and also not to wait to the last minute!  I think there is going to be a panic just before 11/30, so they need to plan ahead.
