The University of Georgia Block and Bridle Club hosts the 35th Annaul Great Southland Stampede Rodeo April 16 - 18 at the Livestock Instructional Arena on South Milledge Ave. This is the only on the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association circuit that is completely run by students.

There will be exhibits and entertainment for children and adults. Friday night is "Tough Enough to Wear Pink Night" —  where $1  is donated to the HOPE Foundation for every person buying a ticket that wears a pink shirt. Access opens each night at 6:00 P.M. and the activities start at 8:00 P.M. each evening.
