Daytona Beach Area Real Estate Blog. Information and Reports by Lisa Hill, "THE SMART CHOICE!" |
This real estate update is for the 1st quarter real estate listings and sales report for Daytona Beach. If you're not familiar with the layout of the Daytona Beach area, you should know that what you think is all Daytona Beach, is actually a string of 7 small cities that abutt each other, with Daytona Beach being at the center.
Last week I wrote a blog post about the city of Port Orange, 1st Quarter Real Estate Listings vs Sales Report, and the city of South Daytona, 1st Quarter Real Estate Listings vs Sales Report. Each of those reports contain the real estate data for the specific city, and the proximity of those cities. As is to be expected, South Daytona, abuts the south edge of Daytona Beach. However, South Daytona is only located on the "mainland" aka the area west of the Intracoastal Waterway whereas Daytona Beach extends across the Intracoastal to "The Beachside" aka "The Peninsula" aka the area between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean.
