Aw, what a cutie. He looks like he's waiting so patiently. Were you cooking a big steak? hehe
Thanks for sharing...I don't feel like typing today either but I always like looking at the pictures.
Todd,
These little critters don't need a formal invite - they'll show up all by themselves if there's food involved. :)
Steve
We "adopted" a couple of racoons when I lived in a flat in San Francisco. We were on the 3d floor and would leave spaghetti for this cute couple. After a while there were 2 little ones... the whole family would arrive, with the little ones ridiing on mom's back. They another family found us! We had to put up a barrier finally, it was getting to be a bit much and the families starting fighting. It was fun while it lasted though.
Funny that Joan mentioned spaghetti. We used to go to a place called Cook Forest in PA for vacation and there were always lots of raccoons and we would feed them spaghetti and the little ones would eat them one at a time. Great picture.
Hi Todd ....Great Photo Opportunity, does he have a name yet? These guys have a regular trap line here and teach their young where the best garbage cans are.
Cheers, thanks for sharing this little guy:O))
Todd --- How in the world did you get that photo before the raccoon ran away? This is an amazing shot.
Todd: Awesome photo! When I had my home in Newcastle, we lived along a ravine on May Valley... We had all kinds of critters coming through our property... especially racoons. They use to gang up on the dog, play tag team and run diversions to get her dog food!... Enjoy the weekend.
"Who was that masked varmint anyway?" Sounds like an old Western tv show. Fun shot, Todd.
Todd, you clearly have something down there that he wants and willing to completely ignore you to at least think about how to get it.
Todd - We had a family of raccoons living in a tree just outside our (me and my sisters) bedroom. There were three of them! The mother, and two babies. We would shine a flashlight and it would scare us silly every time we saw those bandit eyes. I'm having nightmares tonight, thanks!
OK, we thought we weren't feeding this guy, but we just found out he has been sharing the cat food with our cat. But, in this picture he was watching us make smores by a fire. I do really think he wanted to join us, but I don't share smores!
