Mastering Your Fate

"How a person masters his fate

is more important

than what his fate is."

Karl Wilhelm

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Mastering your fate . . . .

One's fate can bring many things.

We can accumulate wealth, or we could find ourselves financially challenged.

Things around us can be stable or we can find ourselves with continued change.

We can find ourselves cruising on our success journey or we can be encountering obstacles and roadblocks.

Our fate can bring many things. Mastering our fate is taken what is occurring and determining if it taking us closer to goals or moving us away from our goals.

If you're on track continue to move in the direction of your goals.

If your fate is moving you away from your goals, take stock of what is occurring. What can you control and what can you adjust to get you back on track?

Start where you are today, take the steps to get you back on track and move you forward.

Mastering your fate is far more important then what your fate bring.

Be the master your fate take control and determine your future and your outcome.

When you master your fate you master your life.

What is important to recognize is that we do indeed control our lives.  The only destiny is the one that we create for ourselves.

Lou,

Another great post on choices and will - how someone responds to what faces him. :)

Lou,

I think an old saying of mine speaks to the point that you are making.

That saying is…

There are only two things in this world powerful enough to stop you from doing anything, and those two things are God and the United States Federal Government.

Anyway.

This is my first trip to Active Rain, and I am her because I am looking for an answer to a particular question. First a little background.

I have just recently completed my first year in the business. I became a Realtor despite the declining market because previously I was a Headhunter in the financial services industry, and my two client companies were Merrill Lynch and Bear Stearns. After spending my first year getting my feet wet, learning the ropes, and formulating a business plan, I am now ready to put that plan in motion.

I have had two other relatives secure their licenses, and I have recently moved to a local no name brokerage for a higher payout. What I am going to do is exclusively focus on short sales and do them in an assembly line manner by forming a sales team, and I will personally deal with only the mitigation.

My problem is that I have no idea how to legally and contractually form a team.

I asked my broker, and he told me to check the FAR website, and when I told him I didn’t find anything, he told me to call the hotline. I know, I know, I know, but what can you expect for a 90% payout and no fees other than a $45 E&O charge per transaction.

So short of just writing out something on a cocktail napkin, does anyone else have any better idea, or can anyone direct me to a boiler plate form that would be applicable?

Any help would be appreciated.

Eric

The team is employed by the broker and is paid by the broker.

You and your team work for common objectives and you share in the teams compensation.

You have follow the FREC guidelines.

If you would like to review the team concept call me.
